Application Criteria

 

Architecture Master's Program Student Admission Requirements:

1. To have obtained the specified minimum score from one of the following exams:
   • ALES: 55 (Numerical); (ALES Exam Result Document is considered valid for 5 years from the date of its announcement).

2. Candidates who will apply must have a bachelor's degree from one of the following departments:
   • Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering.
   • Students who have a bachelor's degree from a branch other than the Architecture bachelor's degree program
     and who are admitted  to the program must complete the Scientific Preparation program.

3. The Grade Point Average (GPA) in the last undergraduate program he graduated from (meeting the application
     requirement) must be at least 2.00 / 4.00. (The GPA of the diplomas obtained from other undergraduate
     programs of the architectural undergraduate candidates is not taken into account in the evaluation of
     success ranking)

4. In order to evaluate the success ranking, it is necessary to attend the interview in Thesis Programs.

5. Interview condition is not required for Non-Thesis Programs.

6. In the selection of the candidates, ALES score will be 50%, undergraduate GPA 10%, interview 40% weight.
   (Undergraduate GPA in the 4-point system will be converted to a 100-point system by using the YÖK 100-point
   system translation table)
