Aim of the Program

The Master Degree program that has existed for 18 years with the addition of PhD program in 2016 to our curriculum aimed at improving education and scientific research in management.

All educational institutions worldwide need professionals who should be aware of diverse managerial problems arising from rapid development of socio-economic conditions and information technology and generate creative solutions through an interdisciplinary perspective. The fundamental aim of the business administration department of Doğuş University is to equip students with the philosophy of science and the skill of doing research that facilitate the emergence of research works in management and marketing.

Structure of the Program 

The medium of language is Turkish in PhD program in the department of business administration at Doğuş University. One academic year includes 2 semesters, each having 14 weeks. Newly graduated and students who have a Master degree can apply to the Doğuş University for the program. Newly graduated students have to complete the program with 45 ECTS (16 courses) and a PhD dissertation and students who have a Master Degree have to complete the program with 24 ECTS and a PhD dissertation (9 courses).  While newly graduated students have to complete the courses in the PhD program maximally in 6 semesters, students who have a Master degree in 4 semesters. In addition, while newly graduated students have to complete the PhD program maximally in 14 semesters, students who have a Master degree in 12 semesters regardless of enrollment in each semester. The required GPA for graduation is 3.00.
