Aim of the Program
Aiming for global education standards, Doğuş University's Master of Business Administration Program for talented university graduates who plan to have a career in management by improving their global management knowledge and skills started education in September 1998 and graduated its first students in January 2001.
The main philosophy of the Master of Business Administration Program is to contribute scientifically and professionally to the training of the next generation of managers with a global vision in Turkey, whose integration process with the world will accelerate in the 21st century. The main qualities that Doğuş University looks for in candidates applying to the Program are the ability to adapt to change, to assume responsibility, to be interested in the business world and to think strategically. The program is designed to develop the leadership skills that middle and senior managers should possess, and offers participants the opportunity to acquire contemporary knowledge and depth in the fields of strategic management, finance, marketing, human resources management and international business administration.
Structure of the Program
Doğuş University Business Administration Master's Program can optionally be done with or without thesis. The program consists of 21 credits (7 courses and a seminar) and a master's thesis. The courses and seminar must be completed in 4 semesters and the program must be completed in 6 semesters. The Non-Thesis Program, on the other hand, is a master's program consisting of 30 credits (10 courses) and a Master's Project, and the maximum completion period is 3 semesters. Unregistered semesters are also taken into account in the calculation of the maximum period. One academic year consists of 2 semesters of 14 weeks each. In order for students to graduate, their grade point average must be at least 2.50.
Our Master of Business Administration Program is conducted in two parallel programs in English and Turkish. Classes are held between 19.00 - 22.00 on weekdays.
