Aim of the Program
The integration of the world and the development of its competition have made it a necessity for individuals to have a certain experience of specialization. Turkey should open to private competition in the Central Asian markets, with increasing integration and the EU in particular has increased the importance of specialization in the field of economics and finance and validity. The Master's program in Financial Economics has been created to serve this purpose.
The aim of the program is to enable participants to specialize as managers with a strong economic background, to establish a theory-practice balance and to understand the relationship between the real sector and the financial sector. Graduates of the program will meet the expert and executive needs of industrial and service businesses, all financial institutions and public institutions that direct and supervise the financial sector.
Structure of the Program
Dogus University Financial Economics program can be carried out with or without thesis. The program with thesis consists of 24 credits (8 courses and seminar courses) and a master thesis. Courses and seminars must be completed in 4 semesters and the program must be completed in 6 semesters.
The non-thesis program is a master's program consisting of 30 credits (10 courses) and a maximum of 3 semesters. Unregistered semesters are also taken into account in the calculation of the maximum period. One academic year consists of 2 semesters, 14 weeks each. In order for the students to graduate, their GPA must be at least 2.50.
Our Financial Economics program is conducted in Turkish. Lessons are held between 19:00 - 21:50 on weekdays.
